Project
The Misfit Wheels Project is a 501c3 pending nonprofit program created by The Isle of Misfits to provide free adaptive equipment to pets in the Tampa Bay Area. The program serves residents of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, and Manatee Counties. At this time, slots are limited, and application to the program does not guarantee admission.
What we provide…
assessment
In-home assessment to determine your pet’s mobility needs and troubleshoot potential barriers to mobility in your home.
education
Educational and financial resources provided to empower owners to provide the best possible care for their pets.
equipment
Up to three free pieces of adaptive equipment including carts, halos, cold laser machines, and more.
Our Partners
We have partnered with local Tampa Bay businesses to help raise funds for adaptive equipment. We are currently spotlighting Pawcasso Art Co., located in St. Petersburg Florida.
